Gay Marriage

All of us needs love. That said that if you are in love, you are richer, healthier, braver, you are having better stress management and many more benefits will follow. All of us will encounter love and have a partner even animals will have partner too but for us human having a partner or a lifetime partner is special and sacred in the sense that we are going to undergo marriage.

Generally, everyone understand/knew that marriage is our practice where two people make a public pledge or commitment to live together and share their lives in a way that is acquired legally, socially and sometimes religiously (marriage.com, 2019). Additionally, marriage is define as the holy covenant before God. Marriage is really important for following the ethics of the society and ethics spiritually because according to Deuteronomy 23:2 the offspring of two people who are unmarried will not allow to enter the place of Jehovah even in the 10th generation and biblically speaking even Adam and Eve undergo the process of marriage.
Globalization influenced us a lot like in our clothing, technology, speaking/language and even thinking. I can say that we are 60-70% liberated specially there in Manila, Cavite and other big cities and by liberation we are starting and continue accepting LGBTQ people.

LGBTQ people are commonly known as a group of people which are composed of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, quare/queer etc. Who are currently asking for approval that same sex marriage will be legal here in the Philippines (Rappler, 2019). Same sex marriage also known as gay marriage or homosexual marriage in which two people of the same sex will enter into a civil or religious ceremony (wiki, 2020). Currently there are 29 countries in the world accepted or legalized same sex marriage namely: Netherlands (2001), Belgium (2003), Spain (July 3, 2005) , Canda (July 20, 2005) South Africa (2006), Norway, Sweden , Portugal, Iceland , Argentina , Denmark, Brazil, France, England, Wales, Uruguay, New Zealand, Scotland, Luxembourg, Greenland, United States, Ireland, Colombia Finland, Malta, Germany, Australia, Austria and Taiwan. (usatoday.com, 2019).

Author’s Perspective :

In the Philippines same sex marriage is not yet accepted maybe because we think or mostly a lot of us think that it is immoral because Christians like us believe that marriage is only for a man and woman Matthew (19:4). According to the Bible Romans 1:27 just being in a homosexual relationship is very immoral in the eyes of God what if, if you leveled it up to married status? I think it is more heavy sin than just being in a relationship in the sense that you know that it is wrong but still you push what you want. Still according to the Bible, when a lot of people way back then is having sodomy in their same sex God punished them (Book of Genesis chapter 19).
Actually and honestly, I can’t blame LGBT people for being like that because I have a lot of friends being like that and all the said is being one of the LGBT people is not a choice it had something to do with your feelings or simply being an LGBT is from their heart and not in their minds that is why I can’t blame them for being like that because even they themselves can’t dictate what truly shouted or wanted by their hearts. That is why maybe even President Rodrigo Duterte accept them having a partner in a relationship but still he does not allowed same sex marriage to be legal in the Philippines ( Rappler, 2018).

If I will be ask if I will legalize or not the same sex marriage I prefer not to legalize it because since the time of Christ as what Bible tell us, it is morally wrong but I will wholeheartedly accept them as the fact that they exist in our current society.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever.
